About Me

Born in Mishawaka, Indiana in 1953. Started playing electric guitar in 1964 and bass guitar in 1970 finally taking up pedal steel guitar in 1982. Worked with just about every country band from Goshen to Burns Harbor and from Rochester to Niles. Some of my biggest influences were Elmer Hobor, Cal Sharp, Lenny Kindley, Jr Ward, Nelson Wynn, Red Wayne, Jim Rysner, Ron Dailey, Gary Martin. Who is my all time favorite musician? Well thats easy "Buddy Williams". I have been lucky to be able to play in such good bands as Southern Pass, Gene Hensley and the Just South Band, Bill Adams and the Country Edition, Red Griffith (Three Hits and a Miss) Jesse Smith and the Lone Star Cowboys, The Silver Dollar Band, The Berrier Brothers, The Old Habits Band and now I am with The Cookin' Country Band!
