Billy Wayne, Mike Garrison, Fred Sheely and Dick Miller have come together as a professional and motivated country western entertainment band!
Billy Wayne (bass/vocals) of Burns Harbor, Mike Garrison (guitar/vocals) of Michigan City, Dick Miller (pedal steel) of Fish Lake and Freddy Lee (drums/vocals) of Burns Harbor -- have played together for more than five years. Freddie Lee performed 9 times at the Grand Ole Opry when he toured with country star Charlie Louvin of the famous Louvin Brothers. While featuring a few original tunes, mostly written by Freddy Lee -- "Man In the Mirror" and "What I Used To Do All Night Long" -- Cookin' Country specializes in traditional country music covers. Billy Wayne, quite the vocal impressionist, will perform sets with salutes to Opry legends such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. Mike Garrison brings the band's sound to a modern dynamic level! He also sings great and harmonizes beautifully! Me, I am the lucky pedal steel guitarist that gets to hang with this great band!
